These apple fritter pancakes are super easy to make and the drizzles are absolutely delicious.

Ingredients

  • Apple Fritter Pancake:
  • * 2 apples diced
    * 2 tbsp brown sugar
    * 2 cups flour
    * 1 tbsp baking powder
    * 3 tsp cinnamon
    * 1 1/2 cup buttermilk
    * 1/4 cup maple syrup
    * 2 tbsp vegetable oil

  • Crumble:
  • * 1/4 cup four (heat treated, baking sheet in oven at 350°F for 5 min)
    * 1/8 cup brown sugar
    * 2 tbsp unsalted butter, softened

  • Maple Drizzle (combine and stir)
  • * 1/2 cup powder sugar
    * 1/4 cup maple syrup
    * 1 tbsp heavy cream

  • Brown Sugar Cinnamon Drizzle (combine and stir):
  • * 1/4 cup brown sugar
    * 2 tsp cinnamon
    * 2 tbsp unsalted butter, melted

Directions

  • Combine diced apples and brown sugar in a small bowl and set aside. Combine flour, baking powder and cinnamon, whisk together. Add milk, syrup and oil and stir. Pour in diced apples and fold together. In a medium saucepan melt 1 tbsp of butter in pan and scoop 1/2 cup of batter into pan. Heat pancake for 2 minutes on each side. Repeat till 7 pancakes are made.
  • Crumble: take heat treated flour, combine with brown sugar, and softened butter. Fork crumbs together. Top on pancakes.
  • Make drizzles by combing ingredients and pipe over pancakes! Enjoy!
