Banana Chocolate Chip Bundt Cake

- For the cake:
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 cup butter, softened
3/4 cup light brown sugar
3 tsp vanilla extract
2 large eggs
1 cup buttermilk (if you do not have buttermilk you can use 1 cup of whole milk and stir a tablespoon of lemon juice in your milk and let it sit for five minutes before using)
3 bananas , mashed
1/2 cup chocolate chips- For Chocolate Drizzle:
1 cup chocolate chips
4 tbsp unsalted butter
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease and flour your Bundt pan.
- Combine the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
- In a separate bowl, beat the butter and brown sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in the eggs and vanilla.
- Mix in the buttermilk and mashed bananas. Slowly add the dry ingredients, stirring gently, just until fully incorporated. Add in chocolate chips and stir to completely combined.
- Pour into the prepared Bundt pan and bake for 40 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
- Allow to cool for about 30 minutes before inverting it out of the pan.
- Chocolate Drizzle: In a small bowl add the 1 cup of chocolate chips and the butter and heat until melted. About 1 minute, stirring every 15 seconds. Drizzle chocolate on top of Bundt cake an sprinkle powder sugar if you please!
