Just when I thought I was done baking with peaches my Uncle brought a bunch home from his vacation! So I had to make a peach cobbler! It’s so easy to make and so comforting. I also got to use our new skillet! Full recipe below.

Ingredients

  • Peaches:
  • * 4 tbsp unsalted butter
    * 5 peaches sliced
    * 1/2 cup brown sugar
    * 1 tsp vanilla extract

  • Batter:
  • * 3/4 cup flour
    * 1/2 cup brown sugar
    * 2 tsp baking powder
    * 1 tsp cinnamon
    * 1/2 tsp nutmeg
    * 1 tsp vanilla extract
    * 8 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
    * 1/3 cup milk

  • Optional vanilla ice-cream

Directions

  • Preheat oven to 375 degrees. In a 9 “ skillet add butter on medium heat and let it melt. Stirring frequently. Turn heat down to low and pour in sliced peaches. Add in brown sugar and vanilla extract. Stir for about 6-8 minutes till they soften.
  • While peaches are on low in a medium bowl combine flour, baking powder, cinnamon, nutmeg together. Add in brown sugar, vanilla extract, melted butter and combine. Slowly pour milk in and combine with fork till it’s in a ball.
  • With a medium ice-cream scooper scoop batter over peaches. Place in oven for about 30 minutes till batter is golden brown. We topped ours off with some ice-cream and ate it warm.
